River Cabins in Atlanta, Michigan
offers a unique business opportunity. If you enjoy the outdoors, and are a handyman to boot, this may be your dream
come true.
River Cabins consist of 5 spacious rental cabins, a separate bathhouse and a residential home
located on a couple of acres on beautiful Thunderbay River.
The home provides a great place to live, and the rental cabins give you a nice supplement to
your income.
The cabins have been an Atlanta fixture for many decades. They were completely remodeled and
a new bathhouse built about 20 years ago. They require little maintenance. Unlike motels and hotels, you are not
concerned with a daily change of linens for your guest. You only clean the cabin after your guests
leave.
There are several 'regulars' that keep coming back every year.
The rental season is currently from early May to the end of September. In the past they have
been kept open through the elk and deer hunting seasons. The area is also popular with snow mobilers, so there is
potential to extend the rental season.

Enjoy year round the relaxing lifestyle of River Cabins.
On clear nights, the unlimited clusters of stars fill the nightime sky. On occasion, you may
be treated with a spectacular display of the Northern Lights!

Toss your line off of the end of the dock. Or just sit on the swing to relax and enjoy the activity
on Thunderbay River.
Keep your eyes and ears open for the sights and
sounds of nature. You may see a bald eagle flying down the river in search of fish, or circling
high in the sky above looking for prey.

Deer come out of the woods to explore and feed on the vegetation. The rat-a-tat-tat of
woodpeckers at work will certainly catch your attention, and a sharp eye will occasionally even let you see
one.
Go to the nearby elk viewing areas to see the massive elk. After all, we are the elk capital
of Michigan. As you drive around, keep your eyes open for wildlife. You never know where they
will pop up.
Treat yourself to a hike on one of the many nature trails around - and don't forget about the
very popular Morel mushrooms that are abundant in the spring.
Life is good at River Cabins.
Come up and take a look around.
